Oil and Gas Production In 2008-2009, the joint Venezuela-Belarus oil production company Petrolera BieloVenezolana, JSC was engaged in development of two fields: Lago Medio Block X and Guaro Este. In 2009, based on the Decree by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Petrolera BieloVenezolana, JSC was assigned three oil assets – Lagunillas Block II, Oritupano Norte and Ostra. In March 2010, 6 gas fields in the east of the country were allocated to the joint company, while, in March 2011, the company obtained two more oil fields for development – Centro Block VIII and Lagunillas Block XII. Thus, the joint company now boasts 7 oil and 6 gas fields under development. The company’s actual production in 2008-2011 amounted to over 3.1 mln.t of oil and 1.7 bln. cub.m of gas, including in 2011 – 1.1 mln t of oil and over 700 mln cub.m of gas. Geological Exploration At Petrolera BieloVenezolana Joint Company, Belorusneft’s specialists provide for geological support of oil production. For now, they have completed calculations of oil and gas reserves within Junin-1 Block in the Orinoco River catchment basin. Sismica BieloVenezolana, JSC has conducted a seismic survey at Boyaca and Montecal facilities and within Petrosedeño premises. The 3D survey covered 91 sq.km, while the 2D one – over 1,500 km. Oil Services In August 2009, two well workover crews launched their activities at the fields supervised by Venezuela-Belarus joint oil producing company. By early 2012, over 115 well operations have been completed. | |||
