“Belorusneft” and Venezuelan National Oil Company cooperate in the following spheres: oil extraction, seismic works, supply of vibratory seismic generators and well overhaul repair.
The representation of RUE “Production Association “Belorusneft” in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was established in 2006. It is headed by Fomin Georgy Evgenievich.
In November-December 2007 “Sísmica BeloVenezolana”, S.A. (seismic works) and “Petrolera BeloVenezolana” S.A. (oil extraction) were founded.
Oil and gas extraction
Joint Venezuelan and Belarusian oil-extracting enterprise “Petrolera BeloVenezolana” carries out the development of two oil-fields: Block X Lagomedio and Guaro Este. In 2009 three oil fields Lagunillas Block II, Oritupano Norte and Ostra.
Exploration works
At “Petrolera Belo-Venezolana” S.A. the specialists of “Belorusneft” carry out geological support of oil-extracting works, calculate oil and gas supplies of Block Junin-1 in Orinoco river basin; at “Sísmica BeloVenezolana”, S.A. the specialists of Seismic Works Department participated in seismic operations in Boyaco and Montekal areas. In 2011 the joint enterprise is conducting seismic exploration operations on the facilities of “Petrocedeno” and “Petromacareo” enterprises.
Oil service
In august 2009 the well overhaul repair works in the oil-fields owned by the joint Venezuelan and Belarusian oil-extracting enterprise were started. By now more than 20 well operations have been carried out.
