Branch Belarus Oil Research and Design Institute “BelNIPIneft” – one of the leading subsidiaries of RUE “Production Association “Belorusneft” – is located in Gomel. The primary goal of BelNIPIneft is providing Belarusian oil industry with technical-scientific products.
BelNIPIneft is one of the leading institutes of the oil industry in CIS countries. Its specialists have vast working experience both in Belarus and in the oil fields of Western Siberia, Ukraine, Kaliningrad Region, Iraq, Algeria, Venezuela and other petroleum producing regions near and abroad. Its partners are, among others, Venezuelan National Oil Company – PDVSA, Russian companies such as “LUKOIL-Komi” LLC, “Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz” JSC, “Slavneft-Megionneftegaz” JSC.
Intellectual potential and material resources
Intellectual, creative, technical and technological potential of BelNIPIneft allows confident solving of the most sophisticated tasks. The institute personnel includes over 460 specialists. 191 of them provide oil production engineering, 122 – work in hydrocarbon accumulations search and prospecting, 74 – in the construction engineering of wells, buildings and oil fields development. Over a quarter of the Institute personnel are engaged in scientific departments.
The Institute has modern laboratory facilities equipped with newest high-technology equipment, devices and mathematical support that allow to carry-out scientific-research and implementation works at the highest technical-scientific level with regard to practically all activity lines of any oil-and-gas company.
