The following grades of motor fuel produced by Belarusian petroleum refineries and gas processing plants only are sold at Production Association “Belorusneft” fuel and gas filling stations network:
- Normal-80 gasoline (GOST 31077-2002)
- AI-92 gasoline (TU BY 400091131.002-2009);
- AI-95-Euro gasoline (TU BY 400091131.008-2010);
- Diesel fuel automobile EN 590 (TU 38.401-58-296-2005);
- Bio-diesel fuel EN 590 (TU BY 500036524.121-2008) – is not temporarily sold through network of gasoline filling stations;
- Propane-butane automobile (GOST 27578-87).
Availability of high-quality oil products is one of the conditions ensuring safe and accident-free operation of the machinery, transport and other mechanized equipment. The Republican Unitary Enterprise “Production Association “Belorusneft” is guided by this particular motto when controlling oil products quality.
The implemented system of continuous oil products quality control ensures preservation of fuel qualitative indices and makes it possible to avoid selling of low-quality fuel.
34 laboratories accredited by The State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus (“Gosstandart”) operate within the system of the Production Association “Belorusneft”. The laboratories monitor oil products quality upon oil products taking over, storage and offloading both at storage depots and at gasoline filling stations.
A mobile oil products quality control laboratory was put into operation in April 2008 in order to enhance quality monitoring of oil products sold through a network of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Production Association “Belorusneft” gasoline filling stations and to avoid selling of low-quality oil products.
The mobile laboratory makes it possible to efficiently monitor quality of the sold oil products on-line and to receive conformance of oil products to normative documents by 10 major factors within an hour. The laboratory is equipped with up-to-date equipment — multifunctional analyzers of petrol and diesel fuel PetroSpec, Setaflash, making it possible to determine flash temperature, content of methyl, ethyl ethers of fatty acids, saturated, aromatic, olefinic hydrocarbons, methanol, ethanol, oxygen, benzol, toluene and to define the following standard quality indices on the basis of fuel component analysis: fractional composition, octane and cetane numbers, density.
